My friend - A Poem


When I think of all the courageous women that walk this earth, I am reminded of my friend.

Her unique personality makes her different from others and it causes me to grin.

She is a bodacious woman, whose integrity is very clear. Her wisdom is noted by anyone that comes near.

As a confidant or close friend, you can count on her support, and her loyalty never ends.

Her principles are quite uncommon among most women, because her love for God shows from within.

Traveling Grace - A Poem

Dear Lord, as I journey through life each day, I need your traveling grace along the way.

Please prepare me for the long voyage ahead. Instruct me how to use my head.

I need to pay attention to every sign. Forgive me if I cross the yellow line.

Protect me when I drive down dangerous roads. Comfort me by lightening my load.

Warn me when I am approaching a dead end and if I get lost, direct me back to you again.
